Meeting at "Directorate of International Transport Corridors" of experts on topical issues of application and development of digital technologies in cross-border transportation of goods

On November 23rd, 2021, ANO DITC hosted a meeting of experts on topical issues of the application and development of digital technologies in cross-border transportation of goods. The meeting was attended by some of the leading experts who represent; road, water, air and rail transport, (JSC "Russian Railways", JSC "UTLC ERA", National Association of Maritime Agents, "Sovtransavto", "S7 Cargo", "Group of companies C7") companies that develop IT solutions in the field of transport (Gazinformservice, Si Data-M, Sberbank, Intellex, Digital Platform Development Center), as well as international organizations (UN / CEFACT, IRU).

Opening the meeting, General Director A.P. Petrov spoke about the tasks of ANO "DITC" in the formation of transport and economic balances, target models and concepts of international transport corridors, as well as increasing the efficiency of using the ITC, including through the use of digital technologies and services.

ANO "DITC" informed the meeting participants about the novelties of legal regulation of the use of digital technologies and services at the level of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Russian Federation.

At the meeting, they exchanged information on the practice of using digital technologies, on existing problems and expressed views on the directions of development and improvement in the field of using digital technologies and services in cross-border transportation of goods. They noted the need to amend sectoral regulatory legal acts for the effective use and large-scale implementation of digital systems and technologies.

The meeting participants expressed their interest in a joint dialogue on the application, development and improvement of digital technologies and services in cross-border transportation of goods.
