The Russian sealing operator, the Center for the Development of Digital Platforms and the ANO Directorate of International Transport Corridors, signed a roadmap for the implementation of a traffic tracking service using electronic navigation seals (EDS) on international transport corridors.

The roadmap describes the conduct of a technology pilot to confirm the possibility of using ENP in the EU countries. The pilot's partner on the part of the European Union will be the Finnish provider of digital logistics services - Vediafi Oy.

Test transportation will take place by the end of 2021. An electronic navigation seal will be installed on a vehicle with unauthorized cargo in Finland, and removed at the Torfyanovka customs checkpoint. Information about the transportation and the electronic navigation seal will be registered in the information system of Digital Platform Development Center LLC. The movement of the vehicle will be tracked in the "CRCP" System along the entire route.

“Hanging an electronic seal in the country of dispatch of the cargo will significantly speed up its delivery due to the accelerated passage of customs procedures. This will give even greater advantages to land routes through Russia in comparison with traditional delivery routes through the Suez Canal. The difference in cost and timing can reach 30% ", - comments the technical director of LLC CRCP Sergey Kiselev.

In the future, LLC "CRCP" and ANO "DITC" will conduct a series of experiments to test the functioning of the tracking service using electronic navigation seals on international transport corridors.

“The use of digital technologies on international transport corridors will significantly simplify and speed up the delivery of goods, as well as make it possible to revise the existing control procedures at the border. In the future, the use of digital tools, including electronic seals, will make it possible to organize non-stop transportation of goods through checkpoints, ”comments Aleksey Petrov, Director General of ANO DITC.
