Vladivostok, September 2nd, 2021. The Digital Initiatives Fund of the Eurasian Development Bank (FCI EDB) and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Directorate of International Transport Corridors (ANO DITC) of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation plan to create and develop an ecosystem of digital transport corridors of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). A memorandum on this on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum was signed by Tigran Sargsyan, Deputy Chairman of the EDB Management Board, and Aleksey Petrov, Director General of ANO DITC.

The document also provides for cooperation between the parties on the functioning of international transport corridors passing through the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as on the implementation of the transit potential of the Russian Federation and the EAEU. It is also planned to develop and implement digital solutions for international transport corridors passing through the territory of Russia.

“The institutionalization of cooperation between the Eurasian Development Bank, its Fund for Digital Initiatives and the Directorate of International Transport Corridors will allow us to establish systematic cooperation between our organizations in the direction of developing the transport and logistics potential of the Eurasian space. We will pay special attention to digital logistics, which today occupies a special place in the system of international competition and division of labor, ”Tigran Sargsyan explained.
